Honestly, I'm still not sure what to make of the co-op. The campaign is local co-op split screen only, which looks absolutely terrible. The UI becomes too small, on PS3 you can't read the button prompts for the shoulder buttons. I'm very disapointed they didn't include online co-op. That said, the execution of the characters during co-op is The Co-Op Experience. The entire Resident Evil 5 campaign supports two player, drop-in/drop-out co-op either locally (i.e., couch co-op), or online.
